Salt Use and Budget

Now that winter is hopefully down (hopefully I didn’t jinx us) we are doing a recap of how everything went. The question that always comes up is how much salt per lane mile does everyone put down? Can you share with me what you are putting down, for those that have an automated system that you can program. We have 3 options on our “blast” mode 400, 500 & 600 lbs per lane mile, which we can change. Also then how much salt do you budget for the season (lane miles)?

Any info would be great.
